BudaPest
, the Hungarian capital and often called Paris of the East, extends along the Danube with Buda located on the right bank and Pest on the left. Eight bridges, each of those with a unique history, span both sides of the Danube and have been connecting the city together since 1839. Located in the middle of the river is Margret Island, the city’s green lung. We have chosen a high-class hotel for your stay and compiled the following program

DAY 1

Arrival in Budapest in the evening.
Hotel check-in.
Joint dinner at the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2

Visit to the old town of Buda with its maze of tiny streets and courtyards.
Exterior visit to the former King’s Palace – present National Art Galery and Historical Museum of Budapest.
Visit to St. Matthew’s, the gothic coronation church of the Hungarian kings.
Lunch at a café in Buda’s old town.
In the afternoon, walk to Buda Castle, the castle of the Hungarian kings, and visit to ”Palvölgyi“, one of the biggest dripstone caves. Buda itself extends into the Buda mountains that consist of limestone and dolomite formations.
Joint dinner at the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3

Visit to the famous Budapest marketplace, visit to St. Stephen’s Basilica, Budapest’s largest church that holds up to 8500 people.
Stop at Budapest East Station built by Jean Eiffel.
Stop at the famous Redoute Concert Hall.
Lunch at a restaurant in the city.
Free afternoon.
Joint dinner at the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 4

Excursion to Grassalkovich Castle in Gödöllö, one of the most famous baroque buildings of the 17th century and Empress Sissi’s favorite castle.
Lunch at a typical restaurant.
Then, tour along the Danube up to the so-called “Donauknie“, a river bend that offers a breathtaking panoramic view.
Return via an artist village.
Dinner at the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 5

After breakfast buffet, return home.
